Default 20% Off Home Depot Coupons on Ebay

Anyone else get stuck with some of these. "Employee coupons", being sold on Ebay?

The seller doesn't always tell you they are for Employees Only.

I found out the hard way, I tried using one here in Oregon.
The Manager said they were not being honored, and advised me that this has been going on since December.

I guess my questions are why hasn't Home Depot contacted Ebay and put a stop to It?
And what is Ebay doing about this?

According to the Hillsboro, Oregon Store, they get several people in everyday trying to use them.

I called and complained to the Head office in Atlanta, they didn't seam to concerned about the problem, but said they would send out a gift card to keep me as a customer.

After doing a search on Ebay, I found that the woman who sold me mine, sold over $2000.00, worth of these over a two day period.
They go for around 3.00 each...that is a lot of coupons......

Please contact me if you have been a victim and would like to help put a stop to this!

I suggest reporting the seller to eBay. I think you can report her as a non-performing seller, since the item sold was grossly misrepresented in the listing. If enough people report her, she should be kicked off. If you paid by Paypal, you can report her there as well. If Paypal sides with you, they'll give you your money back. This page here http://pages.ebay.com/help/tp/inr-snad-process.html tells you how to go about filling a complaint. You can find this page again by clicking on the Help link at the top any eBay page, clicking on the Transaction Problems and Protections heading, then clicking on the Item Not Received or Significantly Not As Described link under the Protection For Buyers heading.

I bought some also, but I've been able to use mine. Are yours not real maybe and that's why you can't use them? The girl I bought them from clearly said they were given to the employees for Christmas. I've only been asked once (and actually I wasn't asked, just small-talk waiting for the manager) about if I was an employee or a family member of an employee. I said my sister works at Home Depot, which she does! Everytime I've used them, the manager has to come over and inspect them...but they are real and I've never been denied or really questioned.

I used my last one yesterday since it expires at the end of the month and had no problem at all. Clerk didn't even call over a manager, just looked at it and entered it! Plus I bought the Armor All Gel system that has a rebate form associated with it, so I made money on that deal! Now, only if I would have remembered I had a Armor All coupon out the car for Armor All!!

You just need to ask money back from your seller - buy it from someone that gurantee return when it won't work.

We are re-modeling our kitchen. Just bought a nice Stove/Oven in Home Expo last weekend and saved us $400.00!!!! Bought couple of outdoor lights the other days and saved us $40!!
Need to go back tomorrow to get some landscaping supplies and it expires tomorrow.

Just about all the ones being sold on ebay are fake. They are mostly color copies; your store may or may not honor them but some sellers are making a fortune on them. I purchased some that were advertised as original with letter attached, it turns out they were color copies with some type of perforating tool used to make it look real. I did get a refund. But that seller made thousands off everybody else before me!

I actually found a 20% off Home Depot coupon on one of the coupon and saved on the purchase of an LG w/d set on Christmas eve. DH was asked where he got the coupon, he told the sales manager that I found it on the internet They took it with no other questions asked. Also, have heard that Lowes and HD both take each others coupons but haven't tried....Who dont want to save money?
