I did a quick search and what I am finding is that it depends on the plant your recycling goes too. Some places are doing toys and even plastic sandboxes and such...some are not. Also some toys are being marked for recycling and some are not. Not all plastic is the same and they can only recycle like types of plastic so if it is not marked, they might not want to be taking the time to find out what is in the product.
Check with your trash company or recycling center...they will be able to tell you for sure what items are being recycled in your area.

no they are mainly figurines without arms or legs!! I freecycle almost daily what I can.. I just hate to see them go in the trash if I can recycle them, but like I said I am new to that too.
my sister has a paper route.. I can't believe what people throw out!!she brought home 3 perfectly good rugrats suit cases full of barbie and furniture and clothing... my little girls i babysit are thrilled!!! i love to give new toys some life!!
