Default Crock-pot Recipes

Now that winter is coming, I'll be using my crock pot more often for hearty stews. Here's a recipe I do in the crock pot - please share yours!

Slow Cooker Pot Roast
4 lbs. chuck roast
1 clove of garlic, chopped
1 packet dry onion soup mix
1 cup water
1 can of cream of mushroom
4 carrots, chopped
1 onion, chopped
4 potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 stalks of celery, chopped

Season the roast with salt and pepper. Brown the meat on all sides. Cut slits on the sides of meat and insert chopped garlic. Place the meat in the crock pot. Add the soup mix, water, cream of mushroom, carrots, onions, potatoes, and celery.

Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours.

It's not stew but delicious!
Pork tenderloins
2 boxes of Au Gratin Potatoes
(make the potatoes according to the box recipe. so you would add the milk in the mix)
It is so moist when you get home! Very easy!
