My super CVS trip for a friend!
We recently had to go back to Indiana for some business so naturally, I hit my old CVS stores. We have 2 rentals & had met with one of our tenants (a couple) & the lady & I were talking & I told her I was going to have some fun going CVS shopping & invited her to go with me. They are finantually strapped so she didn't have any money (health problems take up a lot). I told her not to worry that we could still get her some deals. She is on kidney diallysis (spelling?) & can only eat certain items plus her DH is a diabetic.
This was the week of the deal on the Contour monitor. We got a monitor first & I gave her one of the CVS coupons & she got it totally free & then had the $9.99 ECB & so on. We went to 3 stores! Here is what she got:
*3 or 4 monitors (I think 2 or 3 Breeze & 1 Contour)
*20 Soy Joy bars
*6 Pepsi 12 packs
*1 All detergent
*1 Ajax dish soap
*2 CVS toungue cleaner tooth brushes
I think that is it. We paid a total of 84¢ for all of these by doing the monitor deals & going from there & she ended up with a total of approx $33 in ECB left over. The next day, she went back & got some needed grocery items. She was so thrilled & had a total blast! I was able to use a couple of extra $/$ coupons that I had as the CVS stores there will take recently expired ones. I told her that January was an exceptionally good month for the CVS ECB deals due to the monitor deals. She planned to donate her extra monitors to other people. I didn't even have man coupons on me for the Ajax or All!
