When you receive a gift check (10% bonus for the rebate), how long do the checks usually have until they expire? Also, is the check only usable by the addressee?

I think they expire in about 3 months. I could be bit off on that.
I no longer get the gift checks, I choose the reg. check. It used to be that you could get the gift check and put it on a gift card to use any time. Now the've changed the wording on the check and the paper it's attached to. Now you have to spend the check all at once. They of course changed it right when I got a $18 gift check.
Now how am I going to ever spend that much in Eckerds after coupon?

Stupid Eckerds!!!!!! Get a clue from Walgreens! Put the rebate on a gift card!
