That is good, good job! But we want to motivate you to greatness.
IMHO I would
never PAY for shampoo. I remember when I first started out I was so excited that I bought 5 of some shampoo (I can't remember what brand it was) using 5 coupons and on sale. It was 20 cents each, so $1.
Now I look back at that and giggle.
I have enough shampoo and conditioner for years. All free.
I don't care what brand I use.
If you are not picky about what brand you use, check it out:
VO5 is often free. There are coupons often for $1 off and every store runs it on sale for under a dollar at some point. Every time you get an insert and get a VO5 coupon for $1..clip it out and scream BINGO! Free shampoo!
Suave too..they often have fantastic coupons....when matched with sales it is free!!!
In addition, Walgreens and Riteaid often have free shampoo as part of their rebate programs. Last month they had Sunsilk shampoo.
For this month, check out the Infusium thread in the coupon discussion board. There is $3 coupon out right now. Many stores (Target, Eckerd) are being reported as having them on sale for under $3. Free!
Shampoo will last for a long, long, long time...so when you see them free-- stock up!!
If you don't have enough when they do come out....trade!!! Put a nice little wishlist together and trade off the coupons you do not need.
I would never pay for the following anymore: shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, body wash, lotion, marinade, BBQ sauce, salad dressing, etc. I have enough stockpiled for years.
I hope this helps. Good luck!!
