You forgot Rite Aid

I'd have to say CVS because they always have stuff on clearance and the extra bucks deals are a great bonus. Walgreens would be next. I can usually find something worth a visit in their weekly sale and they have clearance stuff also. Although, the one nearest me seems to have the worst clearance. They may or may not have the same clearance stuff as other locations and then there's the issue of the clearance prices actually ringing up at the register. I do like that this store doesn't enforce the limits on sales items. I can usually get as much as I want in one trip. Rite Aid is a distant third. Terrible clearance and their sales aren't usually as good as CVS and Walgreens. I'm also not that terribly attracted to having to buy multiple items to get the sale price. I also liked the local K&B Drugs chain they took over much better. Wal-mart would be 4th, only because there's nothing new and exciting about each visit. Although, the do usually have the lowest prices on pharmacy stuff and their Equate line of stuff is a great, cheap alternative to the name brands. We don't have any other the other stores. Our Eckerds became CVS and the Eckerds stores didn't even rate. I went for months at a time between visits and the staff really brought the stores down. I also hated their clearances. My local store used to put all the clearance stuff in one area and put up a "% off" sign, with "up to" in much smaller, less noticeable text". If the percent off was 75% off, 99% of the stuff was likely to be 30% - 50% off. Since they didn't put any price tags on the stuff, you really couldn't tell without them scanning it at the register and they got bent out of shape when you passed on all that marked up 30% off crap. It was a really downer. But, working with CVS corporate, we (the customers) have managed to turn it into a nice store. Of course, most of the former Eckerd's employees are now history.

Unfortunately, there's no CVS around here.

We have Walgreens, Rite Aid, Longs, and Wal-Mart.

I voted for Walgreens. Employees at my Walgreens are awesome. They know what they're doing, and very helpful with rain checks and coupons.

Rite Aid comes next, but their employees suck most of the time. (Except one African American lady who is really really good and knows her stuff. I always go to her when she's available.) Their rebate system is the BEST, though.

Longs need to do much better job providing deals, etc. Sometimes they have good clearance for seasonal items, but that's about it. Oh, they have the cheapest newspaper! (99 cents) So, I buy my newspaper there

No comment about Wal-Mart. I really don't like to go there unless it's really necessary.

What I have nearby are: RiteAid, Longs, Walgreens, and Walmart (from nearest to farthest). RiteAid I like the best becuase they are closest and their rebate system IS THE BEST!! I love entering my reciepts online. I wish they all went online! Walgreens has great deals, but is in a area that we don't frequent often so I shop there maybe twice a month...and they have some great clearance stuff at one of the walgreens I go to. Longs I shop at more then walgreens simply because its closer, but only for a good deal. Walmart we rarely go anymore, there quality has gotten so poor and its a 30+ drive.

Walgreens, because of all the great rebates!!

I do like Rite Aid a lot too, some weeks at least!

No CVS here.

Got to be CVS, it's the best money making store - even if I do miss most of the deals
