For me it's a tie between CVS and Walgreens. CVS gets on my nerves because sometimes I don't get in there until Saturday and they always seem to change there sale tags over to what is on sale starting Sunday. Even when I get in there early like 11am, they have already changed their sale tags. It's aggravating because I know what I am going to buy and I will remember the sale price, and then look for the sale tag. But since they have taken it down, and there are different sizes and such, I have to go up track down a paper and look for the product again to find out what size was on sale. It's very nerve racking.

I could understand if it was late Saturday night and they were changing the tags, but why do it so early and make it difficult.

Anyone else's CVS do this?

Mine would definately have to be CVS. The closest walgreen is 40 miles away, so I have no clue if I would like them or not, but 1 of the things I do like about CVS is that you get the ECB 48 hours after doing the deal, and dont have to wait until the end of the month for the rebate request and another 3 weeks for the rebate check! Also I can usually roll the ECB and get great deals on stuff I actually use!

I love Rite Aid, however I do not have a Walgreens or CVS where I live. While visiting in Arizona, I had CVS and Walgreens. Walgreens hassled me everytime I used q's and CVS was great. The on-line rebate and double dipping at rite-aid keeps me coming back.
Walgreens is building a new store where I live, so I will give them a chance.

CVS is great! There are lots of them around here. I love rolling the ECB. Like lots of others, we are swimming in shampoo.

I also like Walgreens but it is out of my way to go there. One employee there is very helpful with my coupons - overage with her! A new Walgreen's is suppose to open the beginning of 2007 and will only be about 5 minutes from my house! Can't wait!!

Default Definitely CVS

I chose CVS without any hesitation. For a long time I'd been reading about all the great CVS ecb rolling deals but hadn't really gotten into them. But when the Beauty Books came out I started shopping at CVS at least 3 or 4 times a week. Just about when those coupons were expiring, the $5/20 booklets magically appeared and I've become a CVS convert! Luckily there are three CVSs within 10 minutes of my house. Unfortunately the one in my town has some less than friendly front end managers, but a few calls to corporate has helped with that situation.
I do like Walgreen's for their monthly rebate with the bonus but the two stores in the area are each about 20 minutes away and neither is very well stocked.

I love my Walgreens in Carldstadt. The cashiers are pleasant. The managers are all pleasant and go to lengths to please. The rebate program is pretty good, especially with the added bonus that pretty much pays for tax and postage.

Riteaid has the best rebate program IMO, but the cashiers are by far the rudest and unhelpful. I love the variety of FARs they offer and I love that you can submit online.

Eckerd's rebate program is boring. Two or so things free a month. Their rebate form is always riddled with mistakes.

Looks like Walgreens and CVS are really getting close as the top contenders!

Rite Aid #1 for rebate program, especially the unlimited ones!, frequent store coupons to pair with mfr coupons, GC with prescriptions.
Walgreens #2 for rebates, and sometimes clearance items that qualify rebates
Longs #3 Occasional good rebates and clearance items

There is no CVS in the area, or that would probably be my #1. I get jealous reading about some of the CVS deals!
