I don't have a CVS or a RiteAid and I've never experienced either of them. However, I used to frequent Eckerds before I moved to St. Louis so I loved them. Sure Walgreens is ok...it's just not Eckerds.

CVS is the best. I have both Riteaid and Walgreens nearby, and I am always in CVS

I live in a small town and all we have is Wal Mart and Walgreens. I love Walgreens, I look forward every month, just to see what free things I can get
with the rebates. It is really just a hobby for me. I am getting ready to retire.
I have four daughters, and I make sure they get all the rebates also. There is usually
things that they can trade with each other if they don't need everything.

I voted CVS because of the "rolling" ECB's. Also, I have found that the manager during the DAY is freakin' awesome!!! He helps me find the stuff, he calls to other stores, and he gives really good instructions to the other stores. I sent DH on the shopping trip again this week, and the manager said, "Hey, I know your wife! She really likes those Extra Buck deals!" And he pointed out which of the items were "wrong" so DH could get the right ones. yay!

I'm on a tie for 2nd place. I really like the Walgreens employees at my hometown store, and they're great about rain checks. But getting the rebates is soooo slooooow sometimes. grr
Rite-Aid has a GREAT system for the rebates. And now that my local store has been "straightened out" by corporate , the employees are great, too. And, I found another store that usually has what I need if the hometown one is out.

I wouldn't have thought of Walmart as a drug store. And there aren't any others near me.
