Swagbucks has a search engine very similar to Google. The only difference is, is that when you search on Swagbucks, you can win these virtual dollars called 'swagbucks.' Those virtual dollars can then be redeemed for Amazon gift cards for Amazon.com and Amazon.ca.

And the reason Swagbucks gives away, essentially free money, is because sponsors and advertisers pay Swagbucks for the search results. So when you search, Swagbucks gets money. Then they give some of that money back. It's a win win situation
