Default I am soooo Mad

I went to Publix today to get 60 items that with B1G1 deals, Publix coupons, and Manufacture's coupons should have cost me 26.00 But the cashier got to the point where the computer tells him the coupons exceed items purcashed. I hate when it does that, usually the cashier will get a manager and they key a few numbers and continue with the rest of my coupons. But today the manager would not let me, they came up with the lame excuse that the manufactures coupon says can not be combined with any other offer. I think it's because I had already saved over 100.00. Then I asked the cashier if he could redo the order. He was like "That will take too long" I had like 87 coupons total. He ended up shorting me 15.00 I went ahead and paid, but am going to have a talk with corporate about it in the morning. I don't appreciate the fact that they don't want to help me when I am following their rules. None of the coupons exceeded the price of te items, so I don't know what the big deal is. AGHHHHH! I feel a little better now.

If i remember right I think their registers are set up to maybe stop after 20 or so coupons. It might be a good idea if you split your orders up or something. I know it is a pain, but it could work out better for you maybe. Sorry you had so much trouble.

So sorry it wasn't as successful as you had carefully planned.

I too have found that I need to split up orders, when I use several coupons.
That way you are assured of getting the correct use of coupons,
and the cash register can't complain!

so sorry this happened to you, i know the frustrating feeling. what i've learned to do since the new cash registers, is split up my orders, it saves the hastle of saving "too much" in their eyes, and prevents the mgr from coming over, its a lil more work on our part, but worth the no hastle...hth
