If a coupon is in a booklet, like from Publix, and the coupon says manufaturer coupon on it but also says only redeem at Publix, can it be used at other stores like Wal-Mart or Target? Has anybody tried this and been successful?

Publix in Florida passes out a lot of coupons but a lot of times Publix is printed on them. I would like to be able to take them to other "cheaper" stores.
