I have heard tell that it's because those items were not on sale in the stores or in the ad, for that week in the booklet, AND that people who bought them during that period are now seeing them disappear from their accounts. If they're not listed in my account tomorrow, then I know I can return them.

I called Rite Aid toll free number on the back of the Rebate Directory and they added the $6.99 formy Flu Reduce to my account. No more sending a separate check. It showed as soon as I logged on after speaking with a representative.
