Default Raincheck question

On the thread about FAQ and secrets, I read that rainchecks never expire. What I would like to know is this: If you have a raincheck for a 10 for $10 deal, and it states limit of 10, do you have to buy all 10 at the same time and turn in the raincheck, or could you buy 5, and be able to buy 5 more at another time? Maybe someone who has worked at Kroger would know about this. When buying produce, it would be helpful to be able to split the purchase.

I've always had to surrender the raincheck if I bought less than the total. Sometimes, though, you can talk to the manager and he can make a deal with you to return the raincheck.

As stated before always stock up on the rain checks while they are out. Our stores use expiration dates mostly for the next 30 days.
You have to give them the rain check to get the rain check price. It's just like using coupons.
