The following is a basic list and some explantions for deals at Rite Aid since I noticed that there was not really anything posted already.
What is SCR?
SCR stands for Single Check Rebate. Each month Rite Aid offers several hundred dollars in rebates on various items from their stores.
How can I find the deals myself?
1. Look on this board for postings.
2. Look at your weekly circular.
3. Look at
http://riteaid.rebateplus.com/rebate...categories=all
4. Look through the rebate booklet that can be found in store.
*The new month's SCR list is generaly posted online on the friday of the last week of the old month.
Are there Limits?
Most items are limited to one per person, household, address etc. There are some that are multiples are allowed, and there have even had the unlimited deals in the past.
How can I get my rebate $$ back?
You have two choices in claiming your rebates.
1. Fill out the form on the back page of the rebate circular and mail it in. (worst way)
2. Enter you receipt information online. This is the best way. No postage, faster to get paid etc.
What do I need to submit a rebate?
You only need a reciept. You simply have to enter a couple numbers from the receipt online or on the hard copy of the rebate form. (store number, register number, date, transaction number)
What if the rebate item is out of stock?
Rainchecks will be honored for all rebate offers during any promotional rebate period. Please fax or mail a copy of the receipt to the information found below.
Be sure to include:
1. your name and address
2. promotion month and offer number

Any other information?
BOGO sales = you must buy two to get the sale price. The first rings up at regular price and the second rings up $0. YMMV, but you should be able to use a BOGO coupon to get both free or a $$ off coupon on both items. As always some cashiers will rain on the parade and may only allow one.
SCR and coupons: Combine coupons with SCR items to get more free or to make $$. YOu get the full rebate amount despite coupon use.
Rite Aid in-ad Coupons and Manufacturer coupons from other sources
In general rite aid allows the combined use of the Rite Aid in ad coupons and other coupons such as those from the Sunday paper. This is of course another YMMV. Your best bet is to give them the Rite Aid coupon first then give them the Sunday coupon (which usually scans much easier)
Double dipping rebates: Since you keep your receipt, if the item you purchased has a MIR you can get a rebate from Rite Aid and from the Manufacturer. Add a coupon to the deal for the triple threat.
I believe there are a few other caveats for people on the west coast, but I do not know all of the details. If there is anything else please post. Hope this helps.
