I wish I had seen this thread before now. I stopped by SAC tonight, because I went to the Walgreen's near there, and saw that this was the last day of the 3-day triples. The only indication was a cut out on the door and circular rack of the newspaper ad saying they were doing unlimited triples up to $0.50. Didn't require any special coupon to get the triples. The only coupons I had was the little envelope I carry around in my pocket and I haven't worked on it in a while. Many of the coupons were expired!!! But, I did get a very few things.
All Free and Clear (100oz liquid detergent): $3.99 - $0.50 coupon = $2.49
Murray Cookies: $1.39 and $1.50 - $0.50 coupon = Free
Murray Sugar Free Cookies: $2.49 - $0.50 coupon = $0.99
- I wasn't sure what they would do since the coupons said DND. So, I only got 4 bags. They tripled them.
Scotch Bright 2-pk Erasers: $2.19 - $0.50 coupon = $0.69
Viva Big Roll Paper Towels: $2.19 - $0.50 coupon = $0.69
Carnation Evaporated Milk: $0.99 - $0.50/2 coupon = 2/$0.51
- someone had cleared out all the regular evaporated milk. So, I had to get the 2%
Nestle Strawberry Quick milk drink: $1.49 - $0.50 coupon = Free
Darn it! If I didn't have a paper due tomorrow, an over 500 page book to read and a midterm to study for on Wednesday, I would have drove back home and got more coupons.
