Soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan are in need of school supplies for children in those countries.

www.doonenicething.com for more info - all they ask for each child is a notebook, 2 pencils, a pencil sharpener and a treat in a plastic bag. On the site they have the addresses of two soldiers who are collecting the supplies.
