How do I sign up for the walgreens rewards. My insurance doesn't cover at CVS so I have to go to Walgreeens.

It may not seem like a big deal but that means that you pay tax on that amount because it is not a store coupon. On the other hand you have CVS ExtraBux which is a store coupon and you don't pay tax on it. In TN tax is 9.75%.
Example:
buy $10 of stuff with $10 in extrabux = you pay nothing
buy $10 of stuff with $10 in register rewards = you pay tax on $10, in TN that is $0.975
