Once you get a stockpile established its easier to set your price ideas. For me I have so much toothpaste that i will not pay for it any longer. Shampoo depends on the brand but basically no more than a dollar for the best stuff.
Food items are a little bit harder but when I get a good coupon and good sale and cheap stuff I buy what I can.
