There are some websites who offers cash back (or gift card) for your ebay purchases. Have you compared them?

Three websites I am comparing: My points, Extrarebate, Big Crumb.
My points offers gift card for your spending. Rate is 1.33%
Extrarebate offers cash back, rate is 1.25%
Big crumb offers cash back and referral program, rate is 36% seller's fee.

I did the math, for the bidding price range from $0.99 to $100, big crumb gives most. Assuming seller fee including only listing fee, Final value and galary fee(do not consider highlight, bold , reservation, and all other upgrade features),
You get back $0.09 to $2.36. And you may actually be given more if the seller upgrade his listing and your referrals shop on ebay.
