I buy and sell on eBay and can explain this to you. When seller want to sell an item on ebay, he has to pay listing fee. If the item is sold out, he must pay final value fee. The fee varys based on starting price, final price and upgrade features of seller's choice. Let say if you buy a $25 item on ebay, the start price is 9.99, no any upgrade features except a galary picture. The seller's fee will be at least $2.06. You will get 36%*$2.06= $0.74 cash back which is higher than through any other website. And they have referral program, you may earn more.
I have registered several websites for my cash back, but this is the best one. Their cash back rates for other retailers are competitive too. One more thing to remember, eBay has been increasing seller's fee all the time.

I don't understand how BigCrumb offers a rebate on the seller fees, when you're the purchaser.
